Our Property
The Tahoma Lodge was built in the late 1940’s. The cabins have been updated over the years, but the architecture still reflects a cozy mountain charm of a bygone era. We are situated on two acres wooded with towering Cedars, Jeffrey Pines and Sugarpines. We are across the street from Lake Tahoe with access to the beach and pier. Our heated swimming pool is open all summer & our hot tub is open year round. We have a basketball court and a children's play area. Private BBQ grills and picnic tables are available for your use and it's just a short walk to the market, pizza parlor, coffee shop, and SugarPine and General Creek State Parks.
Our Philosophy
We provide comfortable, very clean, and casual "Old Tahoe" charm. You know "one size does not fit all" and so do we. If you are comfortable in "jeans" & "sneakers" you should be happy with us.
The Owners
Boyce & Kay Williams purchased the Tahoma Lodge in 1978. Against good judgment and better advice they continue to own and manage the property to this day. In 2002 they brought in their oldest son Michael and exploited his hereditary lack of good judgment. His wife Sarah’s good taste and high energy provides a nice complement to whatever he might bring to the table. We hope you love and enjoy the West Shore of Lake Tahoe as much they do.
